Biography

Satori Tsuzuki studied physics at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. He received a Ph.D. for the doctoral dissertation research titled “Large-scale particle simulations using dynamic load balance on GPU-rich supercomputers” under the supervision of Prof. Takayuki Aoki; the research was conducted from 2011 to 2015. He won the postdoctoral research fellowship for young scientists sponsored by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). He stayed at the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology from 2016 to 2017. From 2017 to 2020, he worked as a Project Assistant Professor at the University of Tokyo, engaging in the mathematical and numerical studies on non-equilibrium statistical physics using cellular automata. From 2020 to 2021, he obtained the postdoctoral fellowship for research abroad sponsored by JSPS. Since 2021, he has been working as a Project Lecturer at the University of Tokyo. He has won one international award at the international conference on violent flows and has received nine awards from the authoritative academic associations in computational mechanics in Japan.
